I wanted to give a review of my FTD (Disclosure) process. It is a very difficult process to go thru but I believe a very necessary part of my healing. I have heard it called the Right of Truth, and I think that is so important to the partner finally being able to heal. The truth can be very complicated especially in my case because I have been married for 50 years. My reality was so very different from the facts of my relationship. This was the truth I needed for understanding and for clarity to all the confusion I had experienced my entire marriage. It took months of therapy & coaching for my partner to tell the truth and to prepare me to hear and deal with the truth.. My support person was Stephanie. She worked hard to prepare me for disclosure. Everything we did was helpful but I'm not sure you can ever prepare someone fully so that this new information isn't devastating. All I can say to someone else who is considering this is: "you are better off with the truth than not". I was broken for months after disclosure as I continued to mentally and emotionally process all the information. I do have clarity now and am so very grateful to Stephanie for helping me thru this process painful as it is. Throughout she was kind understanding patient and professional. ♥️

Coach Steph is incredibly attuned and profoundly present. From our very first session, she helped me understand the importance of providing a container of unwavering emotional safety that I was unable to provide. She has a great ability in holding me accountable yet responding with a sensitivity that allowed me to finally let my guard down. Her ability to hold me accountable is matched only by her deep, intuitive understanding of betrayal trauma. I would highly recommend her.
